He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert H. and Gertrude; and his parents-in-law, Ralph and Adele Mensinger. He is survived by : his daughters, Michelle Simmonds (Randy), Beth Thornhill (Clay) and Lisa Delaney (John); his wife Gayle; his grandchildren, Robert, Cole Simmonds, Tyler, Grant Thornhill, Lauren, Caroline, Evan and Luke Delaney; his brother Dennis; his sister-in-law Mary Mensinger; and his nieces and nephews, Brian Mensinger and Abbey Justice (Chad).

Describing his many ailments would be difficult - the only thing he did not have was COVID.
