Herb Hatten Obituary
With solemn reverence, we commemorate Herb Hatten of Cottage Hills, Illinois, whose life came to an end on September 29, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Hatten and Lucille Hatten (Karns); his wife Ann Bruce; and his siblings, Mary Adams, Marietta Hatten, Iona Eyers, Wilma Warren, Eddie Hatten and David Hatten.
He is survived by: his daughter Annette; his son-in-law Timothy Matifes of Alton; and his sons, Bruce (Karen Hatten) and Bennett (Trish Hatten). He is also survived by six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pitchford Funeral Home (2555 Vaughn Rd, Wood River, IL 62095). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association and the American Kidney Foundation and will be accepted at the funeral home.
