He was predeceased by: his wife Norma Bilzing; his grandson Michael Bilzing; his parents, Adolph and Christine; his siblings, Charles Bilzing, Norman "Boots" Bilzing, Albertine Krump, Vera Bivins and Deloris Bilzing; and also Naumann.
He is survived by: his son Robert Bilzing (Lois) of Fairview Heights, IL; his grandchildren, Cheryl L., Christine DeMond (Dale) of VanAlstyne, TX, Brian Bilzing (Tina) of Swansea, IL, Amy Fischer (Matt) of Swansea, IL, Steven Bilzing (Christie Mummert) of Belleville, IL and Angie Bilzing (Hines); and his great grandchildren, Tristan, Sierra, Kaia, Felisa Morena, Joseph, Justin, Jacob DeMond, Zachary, Caleb, Adam Bilzing, Hailey, Allison, John Fischer, Emma, Oscar, Charlotte and Sofia Bilzing.
