She was predeceased by: her husband John G. Schutzius; her parents, Raymond "Stanley" Thomas and Ethyl Mae Thomas; her brother Kenneth; and her brother-in-law Edward Schutzius.
She is survived by: her children, John (Ying), Sandra Melander (Kurt), Barbara McCague (John), Mary Kubacki (Kenneth), Patricia McCague (Jim), Mark (Cynthia), Robert (late Jennifer), James (Lauri) and Gerald; her siblings, Joan Fleener (Michael), Gordon and Wallace Thomas; her brother-in-law Robert Schutzius (Donna); and her nieces and nephews, Robert Schutzius, Edward Schutzius, Keeley Schroeder (Ken) and Christian Thomas.
