Overton of Crystal Lake, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on February 11, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale F. Root and Lillian Hadden Root (Barrie); her husband Daune S. Overton; her brother Roy V. Root; and her granddaughter Nicole Daune Jackson.
She is survived by: her children, Holly Overton-Taylor (Mark) of Winneconne, WI, Ellen Overton Jackson (Cliff) of Crystal Lake, April Overton Carli (Tim) of Woodstock and Eric Overton (Rena); her grandchildren, Joshua Hogreve (Angela Echeveste) of Racine, WI, Ken Hogreve (Tanya Rutkowsky) of Genoa City, WI, Ryan Jackson (Melissa) of McHenry, Brett Jackson (Maggie) of Marengo, Brianna Carli (Jesse Glod) of Wauwatosa, WI and Drew Carli (Nancy Ramirez) of Woodstock; and her great grandchildren, Hailey, Chelsea and Henry.
