It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Abbott (Crystal Lake, Illinois), born in Akron, Ohio, who passed away on November 6, 2020, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Eugene; his parents-in-law, Cloyde and Maxine Dye; and his niece Kimberly Abbott. He is survived by: his wife Laura of Crystal Lake; his mother Gerry of Akron, OH; his siblings, Phil (Denise) and Nancy Blind (George); his sister-in-law Sherry Bakk-Hansen (Tore); and his nieces and nephews, Heidi Bakk-Hansen (Tim), Erik Bakk-Hansen (Rhiannon), Aaron Abbott, Jenny Edwards (Rob), Stephanie Sprague (Chris) and Jaclyn Bartolotta (John).
His family and friends will always remember him as a very strong, hard-working, generous person and he will be deeply missed A private memorial service will be held at the family's convenience due to COVID-19 restrictions.
