It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Duane Olson of Crystal Lake, Illinois, born in Iola, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 26, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thomas Olson and Mamie Olson; his wife Pauline; his children, Debby Shaffrey (John), Lynn Kerrigan (Patrick) and Jeff Olson (Gena); his grandchildren, Ryan (Caitlin Shaffrey), Riley, Colin (Vaughn Kerrigan) and Connor (Sydney Olson); his close friend Boozer; his brother Ellery Olson; and his sister-in-law Elaine Olson. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
