He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Joseph and Jeanette Mary Konaszewski (Przybylek); his daughter Susan McBride; and his grandson Joshua Konaszewski. He is survived by: his mother-in-law Jeanette Hansen; his wife Sandra Konaszewski (Guse); his sons, Eugene Jr. and Kenneth; his grandchildren, James Hook, Amy Yates (Jeremy), Melissa Wurster (Dan), Fred McBride (Cambrai), Felicia Zawada (Christopher) and Jacob Konaszewski; his sisters, Antoinette Stockenberg (John), Janine Stevens (Richard), Christine Ruer (Sherwin) and Diane Ray (Sankar); his sister-in-law Sharon Deutsch (Joseph); and also, Susan, Eugene Jr. and Kenneth.
Due to the pandemic, there will be no public visitation. A viewing will be held privately followed by a burial at Windridge Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to JourneyCare Hospice Inc. in Barrington, IL.
