It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Galen Vargason of Crystal Lake, Illinois, born in Hazleton, Iowa, who passed away on December 23, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Royce Vargason and Mildred Vargason. He is survived by: his wife Mary "Betsy"; his children, Valerie Ann Klapperich (Robert) and Robert Vargason (Susan); his stepchildren, John, James and Diana Peterson; his granddaughters, Rachel Krawczyk, Sarah Gerry (Ryan), Kimberly Vargason and Angela Jones; and his great grandchildren, Clara, Eli Gerry, Kyle Vargason, Chloe and Emma Gaylord.
