He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Robertson and William Robertson (Cline); and his parents-in-law, Grace and Burton Wendt. He is survived by: his wife Susan Robertson; his children, Amy Robertson of Wonder Lake, IL and Kristen Schmaling (Steven) of Wonder Lake, IL; his siblings, Dave Robertson (Laura), Jenny Fuss (Dave) and Shirley Van Diggelen (Tom); and his brother-in-law Tom Wendt. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and the American Red Cross.
