He is survived by: his children, Charles Carlson, James Carlson and Carol Wright Carlson; his grandchild Cecilia; his children, Charlie Carlson (Britt) of Clive and Jim Carlson (Alyssa) of Crystal Lake; his former wife Carol Wright Carlson; his parents, John Carlson of Appleton and Roberta Carlson of Appleton; and his siblings, James Carlson (Brenda) of Prairie, Sac and Sally Carlson of Brown Deer.
