He is survived by: his wife Donna Lee Vestal (Johnson); his close friend FleetTalk; his son Joe; his daughter-in-law Angie Vestal of Johnsburg, IL; his daughter Nicole; his son-in-law Conrad Caringal of Seminole, FL; his grandchildren, Dana Vestal of Manchester, CT, Bill, Alyssa, Mya and Adam; and his siblings, Paul D. (Jeanie Vestal) of Portsmouth, VA, Jeanne V. (Carl Hellstrom) of Chesapeake, VA, Linda V. (late Bill Spruill) of Chesapeake, VA and Valerie V. (late Granville Graham) of Lynchburg, VA. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
