He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira M. Shippy and Blanche E. Shippy; and his sister Melva Ramsay. He is survived by: his wife Norma; his children, Karen Shippy Davis (Ron) and Mark Shippy (Maigin Blank); his grandchildren, Kyle Lee Davis and Trevor Lyle Davis; his great grandchild Emma Rose Davis; and his sister Myrna Terris. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
