She was predeceased by: her father Robert McDonald; her stepfather Daniel "Lee" Pilon; her sister Megan McDonald; her nephew Max McDonald; and her parents-in-law, Jack and Darlene Zurek.
She is survived by: her mother Nina Pilon; her husband Larry Zurek; her daughters, Kelsey, Kortney Zurek and Kyra Brim; her siblings, Gail McDonald, Brenda Kamerer (Kevin) and Todd McDonald (Julia); her sister-in-law Lynn Monsen (Donald); her siblings' children, Jamie Steere (Eric), Shelby DiFiore, Tyler Monsen (Amy), Lauren Monsen and Bridget Monsen-Nirva (Austin); her grandchildren, Hailey Loranca and Jace Younge; and her great grandchild Nina Grace Kuwamoto.
A procession will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Davenport Funeral Home and Crematory (419 E Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake, IL 60014). Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Windridge Memorial Park (7014 S Rawson Bridge Rd, Cary, IL 60013).
