It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Thelma Moake of Cypress, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 88, on January 12, 2022. She was predeceased by : her parents, Lionel Parr and Mary Parr (Turner); her spouse Shirley Lee Moake; and her siblings, Lt. Colonel Chris Parr (Pat), Wayne Parr (Ruby), Luke Parr (Kedron), Delbert Parr (Dot), L. J. Parr (Bessie), Ray Parr (Shirley), Mildred Hinkle (Alfred), Lela Templeton (Don) and Nadine Cooley (Leon).

She is survived by : her children, Rhonda Elkins of Gilbertsville, Trina Kressley (Mark) of Richardson and Scott Moake of Cypress; her grandson Travis Greer of Paducah, Kentucky; and her great grandchildren, Joslyn, Trevor and Dowl. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

Those attending the visitation and service are strongly encouraged to wear a face mask or covering and practice social distancing.
