He was predeceased by: his father John Howard; his brother John A; and his niece Roberta. He is survived by: his spouse Beverly Sampson; his children, Phyllis Eversole (David) of Johnson City, TN, Sharon Neeley (John) of Maineville, OH and James McAllister (Jennifer Deigl) of Elmhurst, IL; his grandchildren, Lauren Tomlinson (Amanda Bent), Grace Simons (Jake), Michael Neeley (Adelle) and Henry McAllister; his great grandchildren, Nathanael and Caleb Tomlinson; and his siblings-in-law, Dalene McAllister and Kenneth Sampson.
