She was predeceased by: her parents, James Downs and Mary Downs (Spalding); and her siblings, Joseph, Larry Downs, Patricia Morris and Shirley Thompson.
She is survived by: her sons, William "Bill" Herron (Vickie) of Danville and James "Rick" Herron (Cathy) of Danville; her grandchildren, Jamie Rhoads (Adam), Miranda Herron, Jessica Larrance (Adam), Jesse Herron (Alyssa) and Matthew Herron (Cierra); her sisters, Sue Webb and Sheila Magdalena; and her close friend Don Hayworth. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
Memorials in her name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
