He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Holmes and Bernice Hassell Holmes. He is survived by: his wife Jo-Ann Holmes; and his children, Joseph Jeffery Holmes Jr. of Danville, IL. and Ann Nieoko Jackson of Champaign, IL.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
