She was predeceased by : her parents, Rosie Hardimon and Clarence Hardimon; her sons, Dorsey Boyd and Deron Boyd; her grandchildren, Corey Boyd, Jr., Elizabeth Luster-Boyd and Channon Elizabeth Luster; her grandparents, Mattie Jackson and Alfonzo Jones; and her siblings, Peggy Hardimon and Christopher Hardimon.

She is survived by : her children, Cornell Boyd (Edith), Corey Boyd, Otis Boyd, Monique Henson (Russell), Shavella Smith (Quentin), Ashantia Campbell (James) and Breon Boyd; her siblings, Clarence Hardimon, Ricky Hardimon (Hannagale), Don Hardimon, Eric Hardimon, Harrison Hardimon (Tonya), Myra Hardimon, Lois Knox, Billie Roberts, Schfronia McBath, Lashawnia McBath and Kanesha McBath; her aunts, Johnnie Hardimon and JoAnn McCauley; her godmother Shirley Gibson; and her close friends, Janice Matthews, Juanita Gutierrez, Overseer Vera McClain, Margaret Boyd and Clara Beasley.

Viewing was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Leek & Sons Funeral Home (304 E Williams St, Danville, IL 61832). Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the New Life Church of Faith (1419 N Bowman Ave, Danville, IL 61832). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
