With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Rasmussen (Davis Junction, Illinois), born in Monroe Center, Illinois, who passed away on August 22, 2019 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Rasmussen and Teressa Rasmussen (Alexanderson); and his wife Mary Alice Bennett. He is survived by: his children, Robert Rasmussen (Joan) of Stillman Valley, Richard Rasmussen (Valerie) of Homer Glen, Steven Rasmussen (Angela) of Monroe Center and Malinda Kobes (Joshua) of Ottumwa, IA; and his close friend Berniece Brace. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials are established for Serenity Hospice and Home.
