Peggy L. Riggs Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peggy L. Riggs of Davis Junction, Illinois, who passed away on May 31, 2020 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe D. Ferguson and Lillie Ferguson (Dippey); her husband Olaf Riggs; her grandson Rob Redman; and her siblings, Larry Ferguson, J. D. Ferguson, C. W. "Jerry" Ferguson, Marvin Ferguson, Judy Norris and Anna Faye Moorman.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Lampkins (Steve) of Sycamore, Timothy Riggs of Herrin, Janet Kittleson (Brian) of Davis Junction, Diana Riggs-Brown (Mike) of Johnston City and Billy Riggs of Sycamore; and her brothers, Jim Ferguson of Geneva and Vernon Ferguson (Wanda) of Spillertown. She is also survived by many grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
DUE TO HEALTH CONCERNS RELATED TO THE COVID-19 VIRUS AND BY THE SIGNING OF EXECUTIVE ORDER BY GOVERNOR J. B. PRITZKER, private visitation and funeral services will be held at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Goldman officiating.
