With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Georgia Lea Korthals of Decatur, Illinois, born in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on November 27, 2022 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John William and Betty Maxine Walters, Sr. (Moke); her sister Kathy Gaither; and her granddaughter Destiny Painter. She is survived by: her son Mark Painter of Decatur, IL; her siblings, Nancy Benson of Decatur, IL, Vicky Campbell of Oswego, IL and John W. Walters, Jr. of Decatur, IL; and her grandsons, Joe Brown, Jacob Brown and Dalton Painter.
