It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Luretta Newlin (Decatur, Illinois), born in Chenoa, Illinois, who passed away on October 7, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Lynn Stewardson, Marjorie Reynolds and Doris Davis; her daughter-in-law Sara Newlin; and her parents, Louis Stewardson and Vera Woollen Auld Stewardson.
She is survived by: her husband George of Decatur; her son Dr. John Wesley Newlin of Decatur; and her grandchildren, Whitney Welch (Matt) of Oreana, Marissa Newlin of Decatur, Nicholas, Nathanial of Decatur and Baily of Oreana.
