He is survived by: the mother of his children Carolyn Slifer; his children, Jay Slifer (Stacey) and Jane Slifer; his grandchildren, Taryn Hamilton, Chloe Slifer and Peyton Slifer; his siblings, Wayne Slifer (Jane), Paul Slifer (Mary), Richard Slifer, Jim Slifer, Kenneth Slifer (Helen), Lila Miller and Nancy Mulcahy (Jim); and his sisters-in-law, Bessie Slifer and Nancy Slifer.
