Norma Jean left this world on May 30, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Mellenthin and Mary Mellenthin (Baker); her spouse Jerry Dale Wooten Sr.; and her children, Christine Ginger and Mark Wooten.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Callan (Dan) of Stonington, IL and James Wooten of Oreana, IL; and her children-in-law, Carl Ginger and Lauren Bundy. She is also survived by 8 siblings; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home (2091 N Oakland Ave, Decatur, IL 62526). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at the Graceland Cemetery (2091 N Oakland Ave, Decatur, IL 62526).
