He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Asselin and Shirley Asselin. He is survived by: his wife Dana Asselin; his children, Michael Asselin (Christina), Jennie Smith, Leah Alcocer (Danny) and Andrea Underhill (Aaron); his siblings, Layton Asselin (Susie), Mark Asselin (Linda), Rex Asselin (Sue), Rachelle Wagner (Rick), Kevin Asselin (Monica), Karen, Brad Asselin (Sandy) and Tracie Ratz (Al); his grandchildren, Alayna, Kaila, Cameron, Diego, Daniel and Damian; his sisters-in-law, Erica Larson and Krista Larson; his close friends, Todd Irving and Amy Kuipers; and his pet Baby. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
