She was predeceased by: her parents, Berger Pearson and Martha Pearson; her siblings, Mary and Clayton; her husband Loren Perkins; her former husband William Miedema; her children, Karen and Dick; and her grandsons, Richie and Jory.
She is survived by: her children, William G. Miedema, Gregory T. Miedema (Donna), Howard K. Miedema (Jennifer) and Nancy J. Miedema-Suits (Don); and her grandchildren, Janel (Arturo), Jason (Carly), Kristen (Nick), Gina (Anthony), Natalie (Steven), Brianna, Kaden, Corey, Valerie, Dane, Eric, Jimmy (Amanda), Brett and Dominick. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
