It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Earl Burns of DeKalb, Illinois, born in Mercer, Tennessee, who passed away on December 30, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Burns and Alice Burns; his wife Elaine Montavon; and his sister Earlene. He is survived by: his children, Allen Burns (Dawn), Jeff Burns (Elaine), Donna Kolar (James) and Lisa Peterson (Jeff). He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
