It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor Coan of DeKalb, Illinois, born in Waterman, Illinois, who passed away on October 26, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Pflugfelder and Frieda Pflugfelder; and her children, Cynthia and John. She is survived by: her husband Francis Coan of DeKalb; her children, Robert Coan (Marie) of Fairview Heights, Gary Coan (Ann) of Freeport and Brenda Adkins (Kenny) of Sandwich; her grandchildren, Willis Adkins (Mikka), Stacy Leifheit (Brian), Nicole Marhenke and Phillip Zebrowan (Tasha); and her great grandchildren, Dixie Belle Adkins, Cierra McGinnis, Kenna Marhenke and Bethany Madison Adkins.
