With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harold Scharlau of DeKalb, Illinois, born in Elgin, Illinois, who passed away on August 6, 2021 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Scharlau; his children, Kendra Daniels of DeKalb and Harold Scharlau of Las Vegas, NV; his siblings, Harvey Scharlau and Evelyn Buckner; his sister-in-law Barbara Scharlau; his grandchildren, Christopher, Darnell, Keyanna, Jordan and Jasmine; and his great grandchildren, Kamiyah, C. J., Faith, Cadan, Caylee, Dyson, Dominick and Kendrick. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and his numerous friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family to be established at a later date.
