It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanne Wisdom Brandis of DeKalb, Illinois, born in Aurora, Illinois, who passed away on March 21, 2024, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Carl Wisdom and Margaret "Sue" Wisdom; her sister Maureen T. Wisdom; and her father-in-law Richard Brandis. She is survived by : her husband Brian D. Brandis; her siblings, Rev. Richard Carl Wisdom (Cheryl), Laurence Wisdom, David Wisdom (Jean), Chris Hallett (David), Carla Vaughan (Bill), Andrew Carl Wisdom O. P., Martha North (Mike) and Daniel Wisdom (Beth); her mother-in-law Cheryl (late Richard Brandis); her sister-in-law Jody Brandis; her pets, Oscar, Carl and Princess; and her niece Angie Suzanne Hallett. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
