With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathy Qualkinbush of DeKalb, Illinois, born in Dixon, Illinois, who passed away on November 18, 2021 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Shoemaker and Mary Jane Shoemaker (Stomberg); and her brother Mark. She is survived by: her daughters, Jessica Atkinson (Chuck) and CJ Qualkinbush; her brothers, Joel and Brad (Yvette); her sister-in-law Maja Shoemaker; and her grandsons, Tyler, Aidan and Declan Atkinson.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family to be established at a later date.
