It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loretta M. Hipple of DeKalb, Illinois, born in Waterman, Illinois, who passed away on February 19, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Moudy and Dorothy Moudy (Turner); her brother Robert Moudy; her siblings-in-law, Duane Charlesworth, Bonnie and Sandy Moudy; and her nephews, Tim and Brian Moudy.
She is survived by: her husband James Hipple of DeKalb; her daughters, LuAnn Parkinson (Stuart) of Smithfield, UT, Janis Hipple of Galesburg and Sandra Scott (Gary) of Sycamore; her grandchildren, Ryan Parkinson (Rebecca) of South Jordan, UT, Kyle Parkinson (Jaelise) of Logan, UT, Savannah Barry (Stone Fisher) of Vallejo, CA and Matthew Barry of Sycamore; her great grandchildren, Isla and Cal Parkinson; her siblings, Dolores Charlesworth, Donald and Richard Moudy (Sandy); and her sister-in-law Jane Moudy. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
Memorials may be made to the Sycamore United Methodist Church Music Department, or the James and Loretta Hipple Community Fund at the DeKalb County Community Foundation.
