She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Ankrom and Harriett Raffensbarger Ankrom; her siblings, Sandra Dale, Gwendolyn Marie Scott, Raymond Ankrom and Michael Ankrom; her granddaughters, Jamie VanDyke and Kelly Shay; and her daughter-in-law Carla Mammen Shay.
She is survived by: her husband Roy J. Shay; her children, Scott Shay (Edith Delacruz) of Delavan, Robin VanDyke (James) of Mackinaw and Jerald Shay (Gina Hastie) of Florissant, MO; her grandchildren, Lynn Leach, Jennifer Leach, Rusty VanDyke, Megan McGraw, Bryan Shay and Joel Shay; her great grandchildren, Kyle Owen, Lucas Owen, McKenna Echart, Xavier VanDyke, Jayci McGraw, Tori VanDyke, Avery McGraw, Ella Shay, Nicolette Shay, Augustine Shay, Ava Shay, Willa Shay, Sophia Shay and Connor VanDyke; and her brothers, Dr. Maurice Ankrom of Asheville, NC, John Ankrom (Pricilla) of Greenville, IN and Steven Ankrom (Bonnie) of Greenville, NC. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
