She is survived by: her parents, Glenn Birky and Dorothy Birky; her spouses, Paul Litwiller and Richard Schertz; her children, Missy Blanchett of Peoria, Terry Litwiller of Springfield, OH and Heather Schertz of Normal; her stepsons, Rick Schertz of Peoria Heights and Robert Schertz of Wadsworth, OH; and her grandson T. J. Forsyth.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Baptist Church, Circle of Love or OSF Hospice in her name.
