He is survived by: his parents, Ruben Serrano Villagomez and Rosaura Raya Medina; his wife Guadalupe Quintana of DePue; his children, Viridiana Garcia (Daniel) of Spring Valley, Israel Serrano of LaSalle and Melissa Serrano of DePue; his grandsons, Daniel, Jonathan and Christopher Garcia; and his siblings, Ruben Serrano-Raya (Guadalupe) of Mexico and Dolores Espinosa (Santiago) of Chicago.
