Marie Ann Claus Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 22, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Marie Ann Claus of Depue, Illinois, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Gargiulo and Stella Gargiulo (Martucci); her husband David William Claus; and her pet Trilla Marie Claws. She is survived by: her children, Jane Marie Claus of Portland and David John Claus of Rockford, Illinois.; her pet Anubis Claws; her grandchildren, Alexandra T. Claus (Ian Keel) of Lacy, WA. and William F. Claus of Vancouver, WA.; her siblings, Jerry, Joseph, John Gargiulo (Cheryl) and Jeannette Mercante (Vincent) of Philadelphia; and her sister-in-law Mary Claus of Doylestown, PA.. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a private memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, at the Barto Funeral Home, Spring Valley, followed by burial at the DePue Village Cemetery.

Any memorials may be donated to the Depue United Church of Christ, Selby Township Library, or IVAR (Illinois Valley Animal Rescue).
