He is survived by : his wife Anna; his children, Anni Schwabe (Joel) and Frank Hauptmann (Karen); his grandchildren, Jake, Kristina, Kassandra, Michael and Isabel; his great grandchild Nora Schwabe; and his siblings, Maria McAuley (Stephen) and Steven (Susan). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
