He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvia Clesen and John Clesen; and his daughter Denise. He is survived by: his wife Lucy Clesen; his sons, John (Kathleen) and Richard, Jr. (Rick); and his grandchildren, Danielle, Kristyn, Brandon and Patrick.

A visitation following COVID guidelines of social distancing and wearing of masks, will be held on Friday at McCorkle Funeral Home - Durand Chapel, 101 W. Main St. Durand, IL from 9:00 a. m. to 10:30 a. m.

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to The 100 Club of Chicago.
