She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil M. Jones and Ruth Jones (Martin); her former husband Joe Farris of Vienna; her husband James Martin; her stepson Matt Farris; her grandsons, Jason Mann and Joey Alfonso; and her sisters, Nancy Stroud and Carolyn Dobbins (Gerald).
She is survived by: her former husband Mark Carney; her children, Joshua D. Carney (Sara) of Rochelle, Illinois, Chad A. Martin (Julie) of Wheeler, Illinois and Suzi Cook (Ron) of Lincolnton; her stepchildren, Russ Farris (Kirsten), Sara Farris and Todd Farris (Sarah); her stepdaughter-in-law Dawn Farris; her grandchildren, Jaime Newkirk (Jesse), Megan Martin (Justin Tabrizi), Sean Martin (Jamie), Shannon Mann-Alvarenga (Joel), Chris Rykrsmith (Eva), Hunter Carney, Tanner Farris, Luke Farris, Sydney Farris, Kendall Farris, Cora Farris and Grace Farris; her great grandchildren, Cameron Newkirk, Mason Newkirk, Mia Martin, Leo Martin, Isabella Mann, Joseph Alvarenga, Lukas Alvarenga, Kaleb Alvarenga, Selah Alvarenga, Roman Rykrsmith and Gwen Rykrsmith; and her siblings-in-law, Jim Stroud, Tom Martin (Bobette) and Judy Menke (John). She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
In loving memory of Sharon, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church.
