She was predeceased by: her parents, Owen "Bruce" and Helen Whites (Eller); her husband George Richard Balayti; and her siblings, Jim Whites and Corene Kurtis.
She is survived by: her former husband Maurice Reed; her granddaughter Natasha; and her children, Lisa Graszer (James) of Oregon, IL, Scott Reed, Diana Reed, Richard Balayti of Mt. Morris, IL, Anthony Balayti of Eldena, IL, Katherine Briggs of St. Louis, MO, Gina Balayti of St. Louis, MO and Natasha Balayti. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; numerous step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
