With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edith Priscilla Yow (Dowell, Illinois), born in Carbondale, Illinois, who passed away on August 23, 2019 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Mansfield and Dorothy Mansfield (Shackleton); her son John Stacy Yow; and her brothers, Harold "Smokey" Mansfield and Richard "Butch" Mansfield.
She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Williams (Dan) of Largo, FL; her nephews, Richard Mansfield (Dusty) of Dowell and Harold Mansfield (Jennifer) of Dowell; her niece Sherry Phouangmalay (Kenny) of Granite City; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Trystin, Timbra, Emma Lee, Carrie, Kayla and Kyle; and her sister-in-law Marilyn Mansfield.
In lieu of flowers, friends may make memorial donations to St. Francis CARE Animal Shelter, Hospice of Southern Illinois, or a charity of your choice and will be accepted at the funeral home.
