Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Maria Reyes leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Julia Barounis (Peter) and Roland De Jesus (Mary); her grandchildren, Lisa Gibson (David), David Barounis (Kim), Lauren Barounis (Alex Blomarz) and Cassandra Mazurek (Michael); and her great grandchildren, Avery, Annalise and Alaina Barounis. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Adams-Winterfield & Sullivan Funeral Home & Cremation Services (4343 Main St, Downers Grove, IL 60515). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
