As we bid Maryann farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Maryann is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband George; her sons, Christopher (Wendy) and Jonathan Gogola; and her brother John Gettemans (Linda).
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Divine Savior Catholic Church (6700 Main St, Downers Grove, IL 60516). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
