She is survived by : her parents, Louis Mittendorf and Alice Bannin; and her children, Julie Ambrose, Mary Ambrose of New York, NY, Joseph Ambrose (Julianne) of Mahomet, James Ambrose (Kathryn) of Springfield and Margaret Ambrose. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
