It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Wayne Hamblin (Downs, Illinois), born in Stanford, Illinois, who passed away on May 11, 2018, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, George Hamblin and Verl Wirrick Hamblin; his spouse Maxine Tallon; his children, Rodney Hamblin (Angie) of Downs, Sandy Hanes of Machesney Park, Randy Hamblin (Rhoby) of Bloomington and Roger Hamblin of Henry; his grandchildren, Josie Jr., Jerin Jr., Beckie Jr., Kristi Jr., Tiffany Jr., Trisha Jr., Jennifer Jr., Anthony Jr. and Roger Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Jack, Jaelyn, Kaelie, Kelvin, Ellie, Will, Daisy and Connor.
