He was predeceased by : his parents, Clarence A. Sheen and Teresa Tillman Sheen; and his siblings, Augusta Cattey, Robert Sheen, Dorothy Jones, Edwin Sheen and Melanie Christine Moser.
He is survived by : his granddaughter Dr. Lynsie Bane; his wife Zelda Sheen (Yagel); his daughters, Sheri Bane (Patrick) of Arrowsmith, Debra Kaye Toohill (Kenny) of Heyworth and Diane Piazza (Paul) of Sugar Grove; his grandchildren, Alyssa Abbott, Jessica Moser, John William Toohill, Anna, Mary, Ian, Nina and Eric Piazza; his great grandchildren, Reese, Knox, June Abbott, Jayce, Kaylee, Lynsie Rose and Ashley Moser; and his sister JoAnn Witte of Naperville.
