Clarence Charles Wayer Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clarence Charles Wayer of Du Quoin, Illinois, born in Ashley, Illinois, who passed away on June 7, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Steve Wayer and Martha Wayer (Kowalski); his wife Helen Butcher; his children, Lisa Rightnowar, Shirley Ann Wayer and Joe Wayer; his son-in-law Dean George; his siblings, Larry, Gertrude, Marie, Verjean, Eugene and Alfred; and his great grandchildren, Cody Crispin, Nora Wayer and Baby Wayer.

He is survived by : his children, Jack Wayer (Pam) of Rainbow City, AL, David Wayer (Rose) of Elkville, Gayla Wayer of Du Quoin, Sherry George of Du Quoin, Doug Wayer (Lana) of Mulkeytown and Libby Tilley (Dennis) of Pace, FL; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Jane Phillips, Beverly Wayer and Lay Lee. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, two step grandchildren, thirty-seven great grandchildren, eleven step great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren, two step great great grandchildren, one great great grandchild on the way and one step great great grandchild.
