It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Ronald Pruett in Dupo, Illinois, born in Cord, Arkansas, who passed away on August 15, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Nathaniel and Pansy Mae Pruett (Bennett); and his nephews, Alex and Stefan Pruett. He is survived by : his wife Lisa Pruett; his children, Angie Pruett-Lloyd (Greg) of Poseyville, Indiana and Brandt Pruett (Joan) of Farmington Hills, Michigan; his brother Steven Pruett (Paula) of Carefree, Arizona; his stepchildren, Matthew Martin (Candace) of Batesville and Sunny Martin of Batesville; his grandson Steven Pruett; his stepgrandchildren, Sydney and Spencer Martin; and his close friend Jerry Townsley of Batesville. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

This served as the foundation for a successful career beginning in the Engineering Department with Peabody Coal.
