He is survived by : his wife Sheila Bowlin; his son Brandon Ficken; his siblings, Melvin "Butch" Ficken, Jackie Mezo and Betty Scott; his father-in-law Tom Bowlin; his siblings-in-law, Renee Bowlin (Kene Turcott) and Larry Bowlin (Jennifer); his nephew Ricky Bryant (Diane); his niece Jessica; his great-nephews, Kendall Bryant and Dylan Bryant; and his pets, Rocki, Littleone and Tabbie (TT).
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to Brain Cancer Research, Renee's Rescue in Granite City, or to the family to help with funeral expenses.
